How do I export an Access 2007 Query to Word? Simply put you'll be export this as an .rtf file. What is an .rtf file? It stands for Rich Text Format, meaning that the file not only contains text, but text that is formatted as opposed to plain text. Even though the data from Access is stripped of formatting when exported, when it comes exporting it to a Word file the only way to export it is as an .rtf. You won't be able to export it as a .docx - which is the extension for a Word 2007 document. If you want to know what an extension is then you'll want to watch our Windows Vista training videos! Otherwise, you can purchase our Access 2007 training videos and see the steps above in action!
