When it comes to editing a data within a cell, in Excel's 2007 spreadsheet it can be a bit annoying at times. That is unless you know some shortcuts to work around them. For example, sometimes in Excel you may find starting entering data into a cell and decided you don't want be in that cell. So in the middle you try to click out into another cell, but Excel won't let you due to the fact it thinks you're still working on say a formula and adding up other cells (hence your clicking outside, into another cell). Excel doesn't know you're trying to escape that cell and work in another. So the key is hitting the Esc key on your keyboard and it will let go of your cell allowing you to well, escape!
