How can I add ratings to items found in any of my folders? All you have to do is changes the folder's type, or add the appropriate type of fields to the folder. First of all to change a folder's type means the type of files you plan to store in the folder, and the type of corresponding views you'd like to see to those types of files within. For example, right click on any folder and click on Properties, then click on the Customize Tab, and click the "Use this folder type as a template" arrow to Document, Pictures and Videos, Music Details, Music Icons or All Files. If you change it to Pictures and Videos then that folder adds a field where you can add star ratings to your pictures or videos.
