How do I add new font styles to my Windows Vista Operating System? To install your fonts correctly be sure to you do so from the File menu and select "Install New Font..." as this will open up a browser window for you to search your computer and select the folder that contains your new fonts you'd like to install. Don't try to find the Fonts folder and drag them into it because Windows Vista won't accept them. The "File menu" can be found by clicking on your Start button, click Control Panel, click Appearance and Personalization, and click Fonts from which a window will pop open and in the upper-left corner you'll see a menu and its the "File" menu you'll want to click on!
