What do you do when your computer freezes up? Do you push on the power button for three seconds so force a power down? Better yet the first option you ought to do is to try and shutdown the program that is probably causing the freeze up in the first place. To do so hold down these three keys on your keyboard: Ctrl+Alt+Delete, and then click on Start Task Manager, click on the Applications Tab and see if any of the programs remaining open have a problem status. If so select the program in that window and click on the End Task button. You might get an End Now button pop-up, and be sure to click it. Wait for a minute or so and if that doesn't work then hold the power button.
