You can tag your files including pictures, documents, audio and movie files to name a few with tags or keywords that make it easier to find your files later on. For example, right click on any file and choose properties, then click on the Details Tab and under Description click in the white space to the right of "Tags," and type in some keywords and using the delimiter semi-colon to separate or break up your keywords. Once you add some keywords like let's say to your movie.avi file like: family, picnic, 2007 and separating them again by a semi-colon then when you search for your movie file using the instant search in Windows Vista and type in key word picnic 2008, then that file will display.
