For converting Word 2007 to previous version of Word 2003, XP or 2000, Microsoft's Word 2007 has what's called a Compatability Checker. This will check to see if any Objects new in Word 2007 like Microsoft's new built-in Text Boxes (not the kind you draw), but actual templates. Why all the fuss? Perhaps you are working with a client who hasn't upgraded their version of Word to the current 2007. So when you use Word 2007's Built-in Objects they will be converted in a less pleasing format. So if you're not using Word 2007 built-in object, for the most part you will be fine handing off your version of Word 2007. However, this is only referring to Object new in Word 2007 |
