When you're reading a book or favorite novel do you notice that at the top of each odd page the book's title, and at the top of each even page the chapter's title. Those are headers, or text in the header section. And of course the page numbers at the bottom of each page, and additional text like the author's name are footers. In Word 2007 you can set, say a five page document to duplicate your headers on every page and even alternate your headers, like those in a published book as we just covered above. To access click Insert Tab, in Header & Footer group click Header button to either choose from a list of default headers, or click Custom and it'll dump you into the header.
