A multilevel lists or outline in Word 2007 is basically a hierarchical structure of your ideas or thoughts listed in order of importance. For example, have a topic about bread. You'd begin that multilevel outline with Bread numbered with the roman numeral number 1 or I". Then how about the ingredients in bread. You'd make that a sub-level, meaning it will be listed below the main topic "Bread" and indented a few spaces in with a new numbering to identify it's not at the same level as Bread, and use say the letter "A". Then below and indented and numbered 1, 2, 3 the ingredients will actually be the list of your ingredients like: partially hydrogenated soybean oil, corn syrup, high fructose corn syrup etc.
